Midcon Cables Company, a leading provider of cabling and wire interconnect solutions for the defense and aerospace industries has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer at our Joplin, MO facility. Midcon incorporates new methods and technologies, such as its patented Everflexâ wire management system, to provide value added solutions for interconnect applications.

Manufacturing Engineer’s interpret customer drawings and specifications to develop the necessary assembly processes and tooling needed to manufacture build to print and custom wire harnesses for the defense and aerospace industries. Eligible candidates must have a strong project management background, with an emphasis in process development, improvement, and providing hands on manufacturing support.

Desired Experience / Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.

· Experience with mechanical and electronic assemblies.

· Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD and Solidworks preferred)

· Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
