Production Assembler

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Wire Harness/Cable Assemblers. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building wire harnesses and cable assembly products. Your attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and ability to follow assembly instructions will be crucial.

Duties Include:

• Read and follow wire harness/cable assembly instructions.
• Route, wire, and assemble electronic components using wire layout boards.
• Perform numerous hand assembly operations based on detailed instructions.
• Operate semi-automatic equipment (such as crimp presses, wire twisters, and wire strippers).
• Conduct functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures.
• Use a soldering iron to solder wires to connectors.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products.
• Prioritize safety and quality throughout the assembly process.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Lifting requirements: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
• Ability to distinguish colored wires for accurate assembly purposes.
• Handle small parts.
• Perform pull/push motions up to 10 lbs frequently.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous assembly/production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent hand dexterity.
• Proficient in basic math skills.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
