CNC Machinist III The CNC Machinist III is responsible for independently setting up, operating, and troubleshooting complex machining processes. This role requires advanced technical expertise, precision measurement skills, and strong problem-solving abilities to consistently produce high-quality parts that meet specifications. Who are we? Finding the root cause of a tough issue and figuring out a smart way to fix it. · Read and interpret complex 2D and 3D technical drawings, geometric dimensioning, and tolerancing. · Adjust quickly to new tools, changing environments, and emerging trends. · Diagnose sudden mechanical or programming errors quickly to reduce machine downtime. · Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software to review and verify toolpaths and simulate operations for process optimization. · Use precise inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and optical comparators to verify that parts meet exact tolerances. · Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts stay within tight production tolerances. · Maintain strict safety and quality standards to avoid costly scrap and errors. · Responsible for protecting and maintaining all Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) appropriately to prevent unauthorized access, dissemination, or use of this information, documentation, or products; including authorized and proper use of such information in regard to marking, storing, transmitting, and destruction of data. · Support all visitors and security policies to protect ITAR/EAR/CMMC/CUI information, documents, products, etc. from unauthorized access by informing management immediately of any concerns. · Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in employee’s work area. · Performs other duties as assigned. · Regular and acceptable attendance is an essential function of this job.
