Training Supervisor
The Training Supervisor leads the Training Department, overseeing staff and coordinating activities to meet departmental and company objectives. This role is responsible for managing and continuously improving training programs and processes to support operational success.

Job Summary
- Maintaining department skills matrices and ensuring compliance with regulatory/customer audits concerning employee training
- Conducting and/or overseeing the gathering, verification and processing of personnel training related documentation
- Ensuring the maintenance of personnel records and curriculum databases with the use of relevant training processes/systems
- Analyzing, developing, and implementing new training processes for functional areas
- Working in collaboration with the operations team to develop training materials such as slide decks, handouts, eLearning modules, tests and on-the-job training forms
- Facilitating learning through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, and on-the-job coaching
- Coordinating employee certification programs with department leaders
- Defining and creating employee curricula based on job requirements
- Managing and maintaining in-house training facilities and equipment
- Creating and maintaining training procedures and work instructions as needed to support the training system
- Performing administrative tasks needed to maintain the training system database, which includes training records, certifications, and files
- Performs other duties, as assigned, including leading projects and participation in project committees
- Conduct and facilitate required company training programs as needed to support operational, regulatory, customer, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain proficiency and certification (where applicable) to serve as a qualified instructor for required training courses and provide training coverage during absences, staffing shortages, peak hiring periods, or other business needs.
- Deliver instructor-led training on a regular basis to maintain training effectiveness, subject matter expertise, and instructional skills. At a minimum, conduct training sessions periodically, including no less than monthly when business conditions allow.
- Provide training support across all shifts as required, including occasional evening or off-shift training sessions to meet operational and workforce development needs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through classroom observation, employee feedback, testing results, and on-the-job performance, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a role model and subject matter resource for trainers and department leaders by demonstrating effective instructional techniques and adherence to established training standards.

- Responsible for supervising Training Department employees and coordinating work to meet departmental and company requirements
- Responsible for the Continual Improvement of the training processes and programs
- Responsible for protecting and maintaining all Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) appropriately to prevent unauthorized access, dissemination, or use of this information, documentation, or products; including authorized and proper use of such information in regard to marking, storing, transmitting, and destruction of data.
- Support all visitors and security policies to protect ITAR/EAR/CMMC/CUI information, documents, products, etc. from unauthorized access by informing management immediately of any concerns.
- Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in employee’s work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Regular and acceptable attendance is an essential function of this job.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to understand how the training function integrates with the overall strategy
- Strong knowledge of HRIS, LMS and compliance software programs
- Knowledge of CompliantPro is preferred
- Strong project management skills – ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Experience running and manipulating reports from LMS systems
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as good decision-making thought processes
- Proficient in all Microsoft and Outlook programs; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills including the ability to articulate complex ideas in a simple manner
- Ability to effectively communicate among all levels within the organization.
Required Experience and Education
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5-7 years of progressive experience
Licenses, Certifications, etc.
- Knowledge of J-Std-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC-620
